Our smoked bacon placed third for a Champion award at the 1980 National Cured Meat Championship in Denver, CO. Our ham then placed first in the 1982 American Association of Meat Processors National Cured Meat competition held that year in Portland, OR. The award-winning smoked Bacon and Ham tradition still continues 'til this day. Plagues displayed in the Voget store recognize champion ham and bacon in 2019, and many of years prior, awarded at the Northwest Meat Processors Cured Meat Competition.
Today, the fourth generation at Voget Meats is pleased to offer the same old-fashioned quality methods and formulas that have been successful for the past 80+ years. We will continue to offer quality meats within the retail store and offer custom processing services for boneless meat.
